It means a minimal market size for the company targeting the primary genetic cause of the syndrome.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Though rare disease, several market players are struggling to find the indicative treatment for the disease. <strong>GlaxoSmithKline<\/strong>, <strong>Mirum Pharmaceuticals (Maralixibat)<\/strong>, and <strong>Albireo Pharma (Odevixibat)<\/strong> have their drugs in the late stage of clinical development. These drugs help restore normal enterohepatic circulation.
