Cardiopulmonary Autotransfusion device that collects the blood from the active bleeding site of patient in cardiotomy reservoir, redirected to venous reservoir where it is oxygenated at returned to patient’s body. The significant loss of blood during the cardiac surgery has led to the development of cardiopulmonary devices.
