Dupilumab, a monoclonal antibody, is administered in the form of injection for the treatment of Atopic dermatitis (Eczema) in adults and children of age 12 and old. The injection works by hampering the substance in the body, which produces allergic reactions. Dupilumab is a receptor-antagonist and binds to the alpha subunit of the interleukin-4 receptor (IL-4Rα).
