Hallux Valgus, also know as Bunion, is the most common forefoot problem in adults. It is the most common pathologic entity of the big toe. It refers to the progressive swelling of the soft tissue. Hallux valgus has been reported to affect approximately 23% of the adult population aged 18 to 65 years globally.
